Find a trip

Upcoming trips are listed at the top of the Field Trips page and on the Calendar. Members can also join the Field Trips group from that page, and announcements go out by email as each new trip is planned.
Each emailed announcement has the same details as the listing: date, time, and how to sign up.

Sign up

Use the Register button on the trip when there is one, or email John Jordan, the Field Trip activity leader. Tours often have limited group sizes, so sign up as early as you can.

Getting there

Every trip lists the meeting place and the time. If you have questions about rides or parking, contact the Field Trips Actvity Leader.

Cost and payment

Some trips are free and some have a cost. The price, if there is one, is shown with the trip along with how to pay.

Guests

Not sure whether a guest can come along? Again, just ask since some sites limit the size of the group.

If your plans change

Please let the activity leader know if your plans change and you cannot make it so your spot can go to someone else.

On the day
▼
Arrive a few minutes early. Some sites have safety rules, such as closed-toe shoes or a hard hat, and the trip listing will mention anything you need to wear or bring. Your guide will explain the rest.
