What is SIR?
SIR San Mateo, one of 70+ Northern California SIR branches, is a mens' club whose sole mission is making new friends and enjoying retirement. We focus on camaraderie and fun. SIR has no religious, political or philanthropic activities. Our 120+ members have no secret handshakes and we don’t wear funny hats.
Serious fun
Fill your calendar with activities including golf, tennis, bowling, pickleball, hiking, travel, and local events. We also have special interest groups including computer technology, wine tasting, genealogy, cards and investments. We make it easy to make new friends.
Cost
SIR members pay annual dues of only $40. Most of our activities are free. Some, like Golf and our monthly luncheons have fees that we pass through from our vendors.
